HOW TO GET TO / FROM ŠIAULIAI ?

The Organizing Committee of the Games informs that when you arrive to Vilnius or Riga airports, you will find there INFO-Centres of the 5th TAFISA World Sport For All Games. The staff, who will be working there will provide you with all necessary and requested information.

When you arrive by plane to Riga (130 km from Šiauliai) on July 4th, 5th or 6th, the buses from Riga Airport to Šiauliai Arena, J. Jablonskio Str. 16, where‘s  the Accreditation Center, are scheduled at:
15.00,
18.00 and
21.00.

The price of the transport one-way service is 10 EUR.  For delegations of national performances – free of charge.
On departure day, July 11th, the buses from Šiauliai Arena to Riga Airport will be provided at such schedule:
6.00, 
7.00,
9.00 and
15.00.

If you choose as your arrival Vilnius International Airport (220 km from Šiauliai),  we would suggest you to go to Šiauliai from Vilnius Railway Station by train. Distance from the airport to Vilnius Railway Station is 10 km. The most convenient (and relatively cheap – ticket price 2.5 LTL) way to overcome the distance by special train, regularly plying from Vilnius Airport to Vilnius Railway Station http://www.vilnius-airport.lt/en/tips-for-passangers/arriving-to-airport/ Train’s stop is located near the airport passenger terminal. There is a covered gallery in the walkway from Railway station to the Airport terminal, which is illuminated at night. The timetable is available on www.litrail.lt

When you arrive to Vilnius Railway Station it is possible to arrive to Siauliai by train Vilnius-Siauliai-Klaipeda, which leaves Vilnius at:
6.45,
9.40 and
17.30 daily.

Duration of the trip is 2 hours 40 min.

Vilnius Bus Station is just next to the Vilnius Railway Station. It can be reached by shuttles, regularly plying from/to the airport, or by the abovementioned way by train from Vilnius Airport to Railway Station, and walk few minutes to Vilnius Bus Station. We will be waiting for you at Šiauliai Railway and Bus Stations, and will take you to the accreditation place at Šiauliai Arena, J. Jablonskio Str. 16.

Participants will be able to use free local public transport in Siauliai city with the accreditationcard. 

The Organizers will also arrange transport for you to / from opening and closing Games ceremonies.
